                   We offer paid job training to both trainees, and individuals with supervisory skills in all areas: construction work (builders, electricians, utilities man, equipment operator) CDL, management, cook, medical, EMT, paramedic, vet assistant, mechanical, diesel mechanic, computer, truck driving, dental, secretary, administrator, religious administrator, intelligence fields, students, etc. etc. etc.

        There are commissary privileges too; You can purchase tax-free items such as alcohol and tobacco, food, computers, furniture, jewelry, the list is endless and will save your family tons of money. We also have FAMILY SERVICES available for our naval households; There we have all types of counseling such as financial counseling, help with job placement, family support, etc. There some are wonderful kick backs too…last year for instance all military members were offered free Seahawks tickets…we were also offered free Disney World tickets, discounts to theme parks and movies…the list is endless!  But the absolute greatest benefit to military members is the pride we have for ourselves, and the gratitude we get back from our Nation.

           Unlike other reserves there’s no 2 month boot camp. The US Naval Reserve has a 17day boot camp training course geared towards professional adults. The 17 day training is attended at the reservist’s convenience between 6-8 months after joining the Naval Reserve. During the training you will learn all types of skills: fire fighting, Naval history, chemical, biological, and radiological defense, physical readiness, and many other useful courses.    This is basically a Naval part time job you are applying for that happens to be loaded with benefits!!!! You must be between 21-36 years of age. We sometimes accept age waivers to 38yrs. Another wonderful advantage to working for the Naval Reserve, (besides the fact that it will give you the best working reference on your resume) is that you will have the flexibility to cross over to other jobs for new career skills.  If you’re interested, don’t hesitate to call for an appointment.  I know this seems too good to be true but if you are within the age range it’s most likely within your grasp!!!!
